We have an amazing opportunity for 7th and 8th grade students interested in taking on a

leadership role by mentoring young urban students through literacy.

Glencoe students will make monthly trips to the Jordan School where they will mentor 3rd graders to help them improve their language skills and reading comprehension.  This program is designed to create bonds between the older and younger students, and to increase literacy through the peer mentor system.
