BOOK BUDDIES
Book Buddies pairs Big Buddies (Grades 5-8) with Little Buddies (Grades K-2) to read together after school at the Glencoe Library.​

Book Buddies is a GJHP peer mentoring literacy program that pairs K-2nd grade students with 5th-8th grade students to work on reading, comprehension, and a shared love for books! Supervised by GJHP and the Glencoe Library Staff, the objective of Book Buddies is to offer all participants an opportunity to develop personal connections and build reading skills by working with children of different ages.

By popular demand, this Spring we will be offering TWO Book Buddies Sessions - Tuesdays and Wednesdays! Space is still very limited so don't miss out!
IMPORTANT! Little Buddies may register for ONE session (Tuesday or Wednesday), while Big Buddies are allowed to do both. Email contact@gjhp.org with questions!
