GJHP is happy to announce that this years 8th grade project is…

What happens when two of your favorite Fairy Tales are performed at the exact same time? You get a mixed-up-turned-around tale!

“CinderHood” is the fun-filled musical by Adam Busch, based on the original story by Dennis McCarthy.

This family friendly show takes the actors and the audience on a fast paced journey, as we see the stories of Cinderella and Little Red Riding Hood intertwined. Imagine Cinderella visiting Granny’s house, and Little Red losing a shoe at the Prince’s Ball!

Will they all find their ‘happily ever after’?

Variety Show Info

The GJHP Variety Show is a loosely scripted performance opportunity for students Grade 5th-8th. While it features the various talents of the participants…it is not a “Talent Show”.

Each performer will be in an Opening and Closing number as well as be placed in at least one featured ‘scene’–as actor, and singer.  Some actors may be used in supporting ‘roles’ in additional scenes.

This year’s Show: “A Broadway Odd-essey IV…in 3-D” is a follow up to last years successful production.  It will take a look at several popular Broadway Musicals…in a fun and new way.  For example…what would happen if  “Grease” was turned into a musical about the country “Greece!”

There are NO auditions required–or previous performance experience.  All are welcome to join the fun.
