Book Buddies pairs Big Buddies (Grades 5-8) with Little Buddies (Grades K-2) to read together after school at the Glencoe Library.​
​
Book Buddies is a GJHP peer mentoring literacy program that pairs K-2nd grade students with 5th-8th grade students to work on reading, comprehension, and a shared love for books! Supervised by the Glencoe Library Staff, the objective of Book Buddies is to offer all participants an opportunity to develop personal connections and build reading skills by working with children of different ages.

Big Buddy Registration & Little Buddy Lottery Open March 11 at Noon
Spring 2025 Session Dates: April 8, 15, 22 & 29 and May 6, 13 & 20
Big Buddy Training: Tuesday, April 1 at 3:30
