BOOK BUDDIES
Registration for Fall 2024 Book Buddies is now open below! The Little Buddies program is FULL for Fall, with a few spots available for Big Buddies!
Book Buddies pairs Big Buddies (Grades 5-8) with Little Buddies (Grades K-2) to read together after school at the Glencoe Library.​

Book Buddies is a GJHP peer mentoring literacy program that pairs K-2nd grade students with 5th-8th grade students to work on reading, comprehension, and a shared love for books! Supervised by GJHP and the Glencoe Library Staff, the objective of Book Buddies is to offer all participants an opportunity to develop personal connections and build reading skills by working with children of different ages.

at the Glencoe Library
$20 for the entire session!

Fall 2024 Session Dates: October 8, 15, 22 & 29, November 12 & 19, and December 3, 10 and 17.
A Big Buddy Training session will be held Tuesday, October 1 at 3:30 in the Oasis.
Please note there are no sessions on November 5 (Election Day) and November 26 (Thanksgiving).
