Thanksgiving

Pick Up at The Grand on Village Court in Glencoe
November 14, 3pm-5pm AND November 15, 9am-11am 

Thank you for participating in GJHP's annual Thanksgiving Pie Fundraiser, featuring The Elegant Farmer. 

 

Pies will be distributed Friday, November 14th from 3pm to 5pm AND Saturday, November 15th from 9am to 11am.

 

Pies will be distributed outside of The Grand (in Glencoe), on Village Court (East side of the building on Village Ct). We will have GJHP representatives on the sidewalk. There will be designated parking spots to make pie pick up easy. Please remember your pies will need to remain frozen until you plan on serving them.

 

ALL DONATED pies will be delivered directly to our partner organizations: New Trier Food Pantry and Family Service of Glencoe 

 

** Any pies not picked up by 11am on November 15th will be donated, we do not have the capability of keeping pies frozen. **

$23-$26 per item! Delicious dessert options listed below!

This Thanksgiving season, order delicious pies and goodies from The Elegant Farmer in support of GJHP and those in need!

 

Choose from 3 types of pies (apple, caramel apple and pumpkin), cherry crisp, banana bread and pumpkin apple bread. All items are $23-$26 each. A portion of proceeds from every item benefits GJHP! Prices & Menu Options subject to change.

All pies and breads are made fresh then immediately frozen for transportation until ready to heat and serve. Each dessert will come wrapped, with reheating instructions attached to each item! â€‹

  • Purchase a pie for your family​

    • Pick up your order in November (TBD) in downtown Glencoe.

    • Pick up date, time and instructions will be provided soon.

  • Purchase a pie to donate to a family in need

    • Donations will be delivered directly to our partner organizations, who will then distribute to those in need.

    • Past partner organizations include:

      • New Trier Food Pantry

      • Family Service of Glencoe

      • Am Shalom

All Orders must be placed by Friday, October 24.

GJHP MISSION STATEMENT

The Glencoe Junior High Project (GJHP) is a parent-led, non-profit organization that has sought to engage Glencoe middle school students into the community since 1973. In order to carry out our mission of fostering socially aware, civic-minded and community-oriented individuals, we offer Glencoe 5th-8th grade students opportunities to volunteer in their community, attend social activities and events, perform on stage, as well as access to a youth drop-in center in Glencoe's Central School.
